Life Insurance.聽 Doesn’t it just conjure up some insurance salesman knocking on your door trying to sell you a policy that covers you for accidents only, for a small amount and costs you the earth?聽 No?聽 It doesn’t too me either because those days are long gone!I prefer to call it “Life Assurance” anyway, because it is assuring you that your life is convered in the event of death and that what your life is insured for, will be paid out to your estate or policy owner.But how many of you actually have this cover in place?聽 I know of lots of my friends, who are in their 20′s who don’t have the cover because 1) they don’t know anything about (lack of education) and 2) they don’t think they need it and see it as an extra cost.聽 How little they know… like anything, the earlier you start, the cheaper it is…Following are 10 important reasons why YOU should have life assurance聽 and why those around you too should invest in this:Reason 1Hello?聽 Do you have any bills, like maybe a mortgage??聽 This alone is a pertinent reason to have life assurance… it means that should you die, this major bill will be paid off and not left to your survivors to deal with!Reason 2Young, fit and healthy?聽 No ailments?聽 Then this is the best time to get life assurance!聽 Your premium will be small and if you take out a policy that allows you to keep the same premium until the age of 65, you will have considerable savings… the earlier you start, the better.聽 And then if you develop any health issues throughout your life, it doesn’t matter, because you already have the cover in place!Reason 3Are you married?聽 Do you care about your spouse?聽 Then is it not thoughtful to make sure that your spouse does not have to worry about money should you pass before they do and vice versa?聽 I know a couple who cancelled their life insurance and then 6 months later he was diagnosed as having stomach cancer, and died 18 months later… leaving behind a wife and two children still at home and a mortgage… and no monetry relief for his family.聽 Is this what you want to put your partner through?Reason 4Want to leave a legacy for your future grand children?聽 What better way then ensuring your estate will actually have some legacy to pass on!聽 You can elect in your will to have the proceeds of your life assurance paid directly to your estate and then as per your will, divy up the proceeds.Reason 5Peace of mind… yours that is.聽 If you can’t afford health insurance or any other insurance, you can afford life insurance… and should you develop a terminal disease… your life insurance will pay out a lump sum upon confirmation of this, allowing you to fulfil any dreams you have not achieved or to get your affairs in order.There are many more reasons I could go into here, but you get the gist… just like you wouldn’t risk not having your car insured or your house or contents… how can you not insure your number one asset… yourself?There are plenty of fantastic financial advisers out there.聽 If you don’t have one, a great place to start is your bank, they have trained staff that can guide you… just make sure you read through any quotes you receive etc and make sure you understand just what you are being covered for.My 2 cents worth

20 Principles For Life
I am under the impression that most people do not allow these simple principles into their lives. I know that until recently, I didn’t either. I think it’s very important to shed some light on 20 permits that you need to allow in your life. Let go of the idea that you’re being selfish. Think of it as being self-ish! Many of these permits are familiar, but being an adult and the responsibilities that go along with that move in and take over our common sense! Take a few minutes to go through this list. How many of these do you give yourself permission for on a regular basis? Take away your inner critic’s power! Give yourself permission to:1. Let go of “obligations.” If you don’t absolutely love it, consider letting it go!2. Say no! Every yes you say to something, is a no you are saying to your family.3. Change your mind. Circumstances change, so do moods, feelings, impressions, ideas and people!4. Reassess your goals, passions and dreams. As you change, so should your plan.5. Questions others. You have every right to make up your own mind and not just follow along, especially if it doesn’t feel right for you.6. Have your own opinion. Don’t let others dissuade you or bully you! You are allowed to think whatever you want, and so are they.7. Take time off. Honestly, the world will not implode because you took a break! Take time to recharge and you’ll function at your peak afterwards.8. Make mistakes. Life would be pretty boring if you were perfect, not to mention how much others would dislike you because they felt inferior!9. Sleep in. Rest is important, schedule a day where you can sleep in if you want to.10. Let “it” go. Dragging old resentments and anger will only hurt you.11. Have “me” time. Having at least one thing that is just for you will go a long way to improve your life.12. Be grateful for what you do have. Getting stuck in a cycle of i’ll be happy when ______, keeps you from being happy, ever. Look around and see how wonderful your life is now!13. Succeed. Sometime you get in your own way! Fear of failure is less of a factor than fear of success in most cases.14. Dream big! Small dreams keep you safe, and small! So dream big because even if you don’t fully succeed, you’ll be much farther ahead.15. Celebrate “small” stuff. This puts in your mind how grateful you are for what is in your life. Success is success, not matter how small! Treat it with the respect it deserves.16. Feel really good about yourself. It’s not bragging or boasting or being arrogant to be proud of who you are.17. Feel emotions (even negative ones like fear and anger). To ignore emotions only gives them more power. Acknowledge them and they’ll disappear much quicker.18. Cry. Again, trying not to only makes it worse! Crying is not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of being sympathetic and caring, not to mention a release.19. Forgive. “Holding anger and resentment towards another is like drinking poison and expecting it to kill your enemy.” Forgiveness is for you, not the other person.20. Reward yourself. When you reach a milestone, reward yourself. While creating your plan, decide how you’re going to reward yourself once each big goal has been reached.

In one study, people who practiced yoga regularly experienced a decrease in some of their body鈥檚 inflammatory responses. Inflammation is emerging as a key culprit in heart disease, among many other chronic conditions.
“Dedicating a certain time of the day to focus on your body and on actually relaxing, (not) caring about the other things that are going on your day, is very useful,” says John Simmons Jr., MD, assistant professor of family medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in Bryan.
Connect with friends
Spending too much time on your own can affect not only your mental health but your heart health as well. This holds true whether or not you鈥檝e been actually diagnosed with heart disease.
According to one study, women in particular were more prone to angina, a heart-disease-related chest pain, and other problems if they had little social support when they were recovering from a heart attack.
So get out and about. However, make sure you鈥檙e connecting with true friends. 鈥淚f you have a lot of friends but they鈥檙e all mean to you, that won鈥檛 be beneficial,鈥 Heffner says. And that鈥檚 backed up by research.
